Who Legbots Assist is for

Legbots Assist is designed for you if you:

• can stand up and walk on your own, steadily, without holding on to anything or anyone
• can follow the instructions for putting it on and taking it off, on your own or with someone who helps you regularly
• have a waist between 29 and 50 inches, thighs that fit leg straps of 15 to 23 inches, and weigh up to 200 lb (91 kg)
• want support for everyday walking, stairs and getting out of a chair

Use Legbots Assist only if you can already stand up and walk on your own, steadily, without holding on to anything or anyone. Do not use it if you are prone to falls or feel unsteady on your feet. If you feel unsteady while wearing it, stop, sit down and take it off.

Over 200 lb? Legbots Assist is rated for users up to 200 lb (91 kg), so it will not fit you safely yet. We are working on a version for heavier users. We cannot say when it will be ready and we will not take your money for something that does not exist. Leave your email and we will write to you if and when it is, once, and nothing else.

Legbots Assist is not for you if you:

• cannot stand or walk without someone physically supporting you
• are prone to falls or feel unsteady on your feet
• are pregnant, recovering from recent surgery, or feel unwell or unsteady today
• are affected by alcohol, medication or anything else that changes your balance or judgment

What it does not do. It does not prevent falls and it is not fall-prevention equipment. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. It is not a substitute for medical care or for advice from your own doctor.

If anything in the "not for you" list describes you, Legbots Assist is not the right product. At checkout we ask you to confirm: "I have read who Legbots Assist is for and I understand it is a general wellness product, not a medical device." We do not go through it item by item, we do not ask about your health, and we record nothing about it. If you book the optional fitting call, it is for your questions, including fit: standing and walking on your own, your waist and leg-strap measurements, and your weight. Legbots does not ask about your health and does not ask you to clear the purchase with anyone.

Which document wins. Buying a device is governed by the Terms of Sale, and Legbots Membership by the Membership Agreement. Where this page and either of them differ, that document governs.
